Used in WP v2.3.1: doesn’t upload, reports success without a success. My folders have complete write permissions.

Abdul,
When I try to run WUPE it copies the .zip file to the plugins directory, but does not extract it. On the WUPE tab, the page goes blank. Any idea how to fix this? I have disabled, uninstalled, and reinstalled WUPE several times, but it still does not work.
January 11th, 2008 at 3:41 pm
Hai steve. maybe the zip file is broken or there is something error in WUPE. like the extractor cannot extract your zip file or zip file header is broken. try with another zip or re-zip your files.

Thanks. I have tried it with several different zip files (WP plugins). In the past it worked fine, but in the last two weeks or so it stopped working. I think it may be conflicting with another plugin, but I’m not sure which.

I wanted to do that kind of plugin, too, into the plugin I’m developing (Category Icons), but I found yours and I won a lot of time. I made a link to your site.
Thanks for that plugin !
